Trained in RAD classical ballet and jazz since an early age, my love for dance began straight away. I started in pre-primary ballet at 4 years old, where I went on to complete my primary through to advanced 1 exams.
I developed a high level of technique and flexibility throughout my early years of training, which is why I decided to further my skills and start acrobatics and circus at 13. I learnt a whole range of new skills I could bring to my dancing as well as future career paths in dance. Growing up as a normal school student who loved to just dance, I again wanted to do more and further my skills. After year 10, I left school and danced full time where I again trained in classical ballet and jazz, as well as contemporary, slow modern, hip hop and commercial, I knew I had found my first stepping stone to hopefully a full career.
After dancing full time for the year, I stayed on as a part time student while completing my year 12 studies. This led me into getting accepted into QUT for A Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance. I didn’t feel I was right for the course and left after 1 semester where I then went on to doing a Pro Course the following year. Here I trained in all styles again, opening myself up to the industry and making myself into a versatile dancer.
I travelled to Los Angeles, California as a part of this course to experience another side of the dance industry. I started teaching in my early years of high school, choreographing my own peers and creating my own routines. From here I discovered my passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge. I now am a dance, cheer and acrobatics teacher where I love seeing my students achieve new skills and watching them grow into great performers.
I am currently a squad member of the Hog’s Breath Cafe Sirens, the official cheer squad for the Gold Coast Titans which I have been a part of for 4 years. I also work full time for Village Roadshow Theme Parks, Sea World and Movie World as a Performer.

Lesleigh has recently returned to the Gold Coast following a four year stint in Paris as a soloist dancer at the Moulin Rouge. Whilst in the City of Love, Lesleigh discovered her passion for yoga, training at Big Apple Yoga Paris and undertaking further study in India.
Lesleigh – who grew up right here on the Coast – returns with world recognised qualifications in Vinyasa yoga, as well as being a qualified BASI pilates instructor, after teaching in several studios in Paris. Lesleigh’s experience at the Moulin Rouge (including being featured as the ‘face’ of the Moulin in 2014) was not her only international exposure – she also fulfilled dance contracts in Japan and India & Beijing. A life in Paris also allowed Lesleigh to undertake several modelling and acting projects – including a photo shoot for Men’s Health Magazine in Germany and a role in a Bollywood film.
Before originally leaving the Coast for work abroad, Lesleigh enjoyed teaching jazz and ballet at Ransley Ballet and Dance Centre. A former student of Ransley’s herself, Lesleigh trained in ATOD jazz and tap – but her specialisation was in classical ballet completing her Advanced 2 with Distinctions.
“My love for family has brought me back to the Gold Coast, where I hope to pass on the knowledge and skills I’ve gained in my years as a professional dancer and teacher. I hope to be a good role model and mentor to young local girls hoping to find a career on the stage or to find peace of mind & body on the yoga mat.”
