My name is Megan Chadwick and I am the proprietor and Creative Director at CHADWICK STUDIOS and would like to warmly welcome you! My staff and I are delighted that you have chosen CHADWICK STUDIOS as the dance academy to begin or continue your exciting journey through the world of dance.
I have been dancing since I was 5 years old. Then when I started ballet at the age of 10, I knew I longed to dance forever. I trained here (on the Gold Coast) at a private school where I was a boarder, and these were some of the best years of my life… dancing every day.
After completing my training course I have been dancing professionally for many years both overseas and within Australia; working as a soloist at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, Jupiter’s Casino for M2 Productions, Stade de France, Opera Australia, Bloch, John Paul Gaultier, Starmakers, Alonzo King Ballet Company, Eurovision, and Sephora just to name a few.
After living overseas several times and for some years, my husband Greg and I have settled down on the Gold Coast to fulfill our dream, my own business in the world of dance. I have loved dancing every day with a passion, and with my extensive past and years of experience professionally, I have designed this program for your children. We have created a safe environment where your child or children can develop happily and appropriately, and I have a commitment to remain approachable and responsive to my students’ best needs.
What We Provide
We provide classes of all genres for all ages from tiny tots classes, casual creative classes, performance ensemble classes, part time classes, adult classes and professional classes.
We have a faculty team of industry specialist teachers who are caring, dedicated, knowledgeable and fun-loving people, and who provide encouragement and support whilst teaching skills & discipline. Our focus is on fundamentals, flexibility, technique and our chosen syllabus of the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet will ensure your child has the greatest opportunity to advance their skills as a performer. Our newly fitted-out academy premises is designed to provide a comfortable, professional and nurturing platform, and the foundation to support your child’s first steps in the journey to success in the performing arts.
